If you're one of the millions of people who tune in to watch the TV show The Bachelor, you'll be excited to learn about our most recent Chooka model. Taylor Nolan joined us on set recently to model some of our spring/summer styles. The butterfly boots in this photo are currently available at Nordstrom.
What's she wearing these days?
Taylor seems to prefer an easy and classic look. As a self-proclaimed “cat lady”, over-sized sweaters and leggings are part of her go-to look, especially in the cooler months. Bonus points if the sweater is especially fuzzy as this helps to hide any left-over cat hair from morning snuggles. She doesn’t claim to be especially trendy or fashion-forward, but appreciates the ease of a one-piece outfit like a dress or jumper in the warmer months. Floral dresses allow her to stay feminine and do not require much forethought or planning, which is definitely a perk for this busy lady!
Insider info: Taylor likes thrift-shopping. You can find her at Value Village poppin’ tags.
Favorite rainy day look?
No surprises here. Boots and baggy sweaters are what you’ll find Taylor wearing on a rainy day. We sent her a pair of our City Solid rain boots in Navy awhile back which she pairs with dark denim and a yellow sweater. What a great look!
On to the next…
With a background in mental health, Taylor started her own Podcast called “Let’s Talk About It”. On the show, she speaks with guests about uncomfortable topics like Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and domestic violence towards men. She feels that shedding light on issues like these help to destroy stigmas and reduce the shame associated with them. Taylor hopes this podcast will be a safe place for people to be vulnerable. Even she herself opens up on the show as the host.
It was a pleasure to spend the morning hanging on set with Taylor Nolan. It is clear that she recognizes the platform she possesses as a great responsibility and wants to use it to help people learn about themselves and relationships.
And thanks to our great team for making this photo shoot a success!
